What is Learning for Living?
Learning for Living is a course in spirituality, mission, and service. The central ideas, beliefs, key debates, significant historical documents and leading thinkers of Christianity are introduced using the framework of the Apostles’ Creed. The central ideas of both traditional and contemporary theology are explored.
The course focuses on three core areas:
Enrichment of self
The course deepens your understanding of your own spirituality and Christian experience.
Mission in the world
The course develops your sense of mission and service in the world.
Ministry to the church
The course enables you to preach and lead worship as Lay Preachers.
Is it for me?
Learning for Living is an ideal course for those who are new to Christian theology.
This is a general interest course suitable for all those wanting to explore their faith further as well as for those wishing to undertake Lay Preacher accreditation or considering a Period of Discernment.
